
Ingredients
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 can sweet corn
- 1 green onion, whites and greens separated
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- Cornstarch slurry (about 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with water)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Sesame oil
- Salt
Directions
- Make a cornstarch slurry by stirring the cornstarch into a little water.
- In a pot, add the chicken broth, sweet corn, the whites of the green onion and the white pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry, making sure there are no lumps.
- Reduce the heat. While slowly stirring, pour in the beaten eggs to create silky ribbons.
- Finish with sesame oil, salt and the green onion greens.
