Ingredients
- Pork belly, cut into bite-size cubes
- 1 onion, chopped, plus extra sliced onion to finish (the secret — use as much as you like)
- Garlic, minced
- Soy sauce
- Oyster sauce
- Water
- Pork bouillon (optional)
- Brown sugar
- 1 lime
- Ground black pepper
- Boiled quail eggs, peeled
Directions
- Saute the onion and garlic.
- Add the pork belly and cook until it turns light brown.
- Add the soy sauce and oyster sauce, give it a quick stir, and continue cooking for about 2 minutes.
- Add water and let it boil (you can also add pork bouillon). Simmer until the pork is completely tender.
- Add brown sugar and squeeze in the lime.
- Add plenty of sliced onion and season with ground black pepper.
- Add the boiled quail eggs. Serve with warm white rice.
